The STRIX Award, Hungary’s first complex corporate AI competition, is launched
Artificial intelligence (AI) is now one of the most important drivers of global competitiveness. To encourage best practices in Hungary and facilitate knowledge sharing, the country’s first cross-sector AI competition, the STRIX Award, is being launched with the aim of showcasing and rewarding the best domestic artificial intelligence solutions, providing inspiration for companies and organizations.
The competition is open to large companies, SMEs, and public sector players alike. Entries can be submitted in the form of case studies of projects completed by November 15, 2025, in three main categories: by industry, by function within an organization, or by specific projects within an organization, such as “developing ethical AI capabilities.”
Within the STRIX Award, there are several dedicated categories for entries from the manufacturing, food, healthcare, and other sectors. Within the main categories of these sectors, the award seeks AI-enabled solutions that help optimize production processes in manufacturing, machine building, and the manufacturing industry for operational efficiency. It is also worth considering outstanding solutions in the fields of research and development, material structure modeling, process optimization, emission reduction, or classic office AI practices used in business operations.
The jury evaluating the entries consists of practical and theoretical experts with decades of domestic and international experience in AI-related fields, who are familiar with the work of startups and larger companies.
Application period: November 17–27, 2025.
