As the largest domestic environmental advocacy organisation, we recognise the work of the most outstanding ecological professionals each year as part of our efforts to create value. Established in 2001, the Environmental Protection Award, with the longest history in the profession, aims to draw widespread attention to the achievements made, thereby inspiring all those who work in the field of environmental protection and the environmental industry. This award is not only a tradition, but also a platform for sharing best practices and exchanging ideas.
The professional jury recognises outstanding activities that benefit society, reduce environmental impact, eliminate environmental pollution, and promote sustainability and the circular economy model.
Award categories
The 2024 Environmental Protection Award is accepting nominations in three categories. The application requirements for each category can be found by clicking on the award categories.
Application requirements
The award announced in the open call for applications may be granted to organizations, institutions, or individuals who have continuously carried out outstanding environmental protection activities in line with the objectives of the call in 2024 and in previous years. The award does not include a cash prize.
Organizations and individuals who are not members of HAEE may also apply for or be nominated for the Environmental Protection Award.
The application process
Deadline for submitting applications: February 1, 2025, 11:59 p.m.
Deadline for the jury’s decision: February 15, 2025.
The awards will be presented at the 24th National Environmental Protection Meeting and Environmental Protection Awards Gala organized by HAEE on March 1, 2025, at the Europa Event Center.
Professional evaluation
The applications received will be evaluated by the HAEE Presidium as a professional jury.
When evaluating applications, the quality and reliability of the information provided is of paramount importance, so please endeavor to present the most important facts related to the nomination. The names and commendations of the award winners will be published on the HAEE website, but the submitted application materials will be treated confidentially.
