European Commission recognises Europe's greenest businesses

On 3 November 2020, during the Circular Economy Stakeholder Conference, the European Commission announced the winners of the 2020-2021 European Business Awards for the Environment (EBAE).

Our Association, as EBAE national coordinator nominated 6 companies in 4 categories according to the decision of the national jury. Nominees as of the different national environmental award winners: awards by the Hungarian Business Leader Forum: Coca-Cola HBC, Hamburger Hungária Kft., MOL Limo Ltd., Water & Soil Ltd., by Hungarian Innovation Association: Thales Nano Energy, by Hungarian Association of Environmental Enterprises award: Recobin Ltd. According to the positive feedback by the jury, the innovative technologies of the applicants and their impact on the environment and society are significant and impressive.

All these companies successfully combine innovation, competitiveness and outstanding environmental performance. Congratulations to all of them! The jury also acknowledged 10 Silver Medallists and 12 Rising Stars. The 2020-2021 competition received 94 applications from 16 European countries.
