HAEE attends International Conference on Smart Landscapes!

This April, HAEE members were proud to participate in the International Conference "Smart landscapes 2: Renewable and Sustainable" held in Zagreb, Croatia. The conference, which coincided with both World Landscape Architecture Month and World Day of Renewable Energy, brought together landscape professionals to explore the intersection of sustainable design and renewable energy sources.

The conference program spanned the future of landscape architecture, exploring how design can tackle sustainability challenges, leverage AI, and influence energy use in cities. It even offered a glimpse at cutting-edge projects from several Europena countries.

HAEE's Managing Director played a leading role in the conference by delivering the keynote presentation. The presentation focused on green industry opportunities in green-blue infrastructure development. This aligns perfectly with HAEE's and the KEXPORT Cluster’s ongoing mission to promote sustainable practices.

The conference provided a valuable opportunity for HAEE members to connect with colleagues worldwide, share knowledge, and foster collaboration. The event also generated significant interest in HAEE's upcoming Environtec powered by Ökoindustria expo in October.
